Anjali Rao Gut Health Guide

Anjali Rao spent most of her twenties and thirties planning her life around her digestive system — where the toilets were, what she could risk eating, whether she’d be able to sit through a meeting. She tried elimination diets, expensive supplements, and every protocol the internet promised would fix her.

What finally helped was less exciting than any of it: understanding how digestion actually works, learning which claims had evidence behind them, and getting properly assessed by a doctor instead of self-diagnosing online.

Anjali is not a clinician, and she writes that way deliberately. Her books do not prescribe protocols, sell supplements, or promise to cure anything. They exist to do the thing the gut-health industry rarely does: explain the mechanism honestly, distinguish solid evidence from marketing, and be clear about which symptoms need a doctor rather than a probiotic.

The Gut Health Series is the result: eight books covering digestion, bloating, IBS, the gut-brain connection, inflammation, eating well, women’s digestive health, and how to look after your gut without becoming obsessed with it. Anjali writes and publishes independently.
